Post Indicator Valve Advantages:
In previous years, gate valves inside the pit were used to isolate fire water flow of underground firefighting networks, so that there were places a concrete or metal pit was previously installed along the firefighting network to install isolation valve placed inside them. but with the design of post indicator valves, it was no longer necessary to implement a pit, and the post valve was installed directly in fire network line and its surroundings are filled with soil or sand, because these valves have the ability to turn-on/turn-off water flow and even show the opening and closing of the valve, so station valves have the following advantages :
DON’T need to install a pit in the network of firefighting underground lines (firefighting ring)
The possibility of disconnecting/connecting the fire water flow from the post indicator.
It is possible to know and display whether the valve is open or closed.
Having a dedicated lock for security and non-technical personnel intervention to open/close the valve
It has telescopic capability and the possibility of increasing/decreasing the height and depth.
